Raquel San Nicolás (Canary Islands, 1990) is a photographer and director
specialising in fashion films, music videos and documentary-style visual work.
She trained in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication at Universidad Carlos
III de Madrid. Based across Paris, Milan and Barcelona, she has worked with
fashion brands and artistic-audiovisual projects. Her work blends a refined
aesthetic gaze with the poetics of everyday life, linking contemporary visual
culture with the memory and landscapes of her island origins.
Having been nominated and awarded at international festivals such as the Berlin
Fashion Film Festival, the Fashion Film Festival Milano and the 1.4 Awards in
London, in recent years she has focused her production on works that integrate
the identity and territory of the Canary Islands.
In her commercial photography practice, Raquel brings together strong visual
storytelling, atmospheric light and a quietly evocative sense of place—
making her a distinctive voice for brands seeking imagery that resonates both
stylistically and emotionally.
