Shot on a single roll of expired 16mm, Mirage captures the essence of Estúdio Carmine (@estudiocarmine), a design studio based in Curitiba, Brazil – which represents the continuation of five generations of woodworkers and luthiers.

Tiago Datti and Fernanda Maleski (featured at Milano Design Week 2025) craft timeless pieces by blending traditional and modern techniques, always with profound respect for wood as a living material. Their practice is deeply ecological, working exclusively with certified sustainable Brazilian wood, affirming that caring for the environment is not an option but their main responsibility.
